Dual-Plug Valve Refurbishment

Dual Plug Valves are heavy service valves and are mounted between two oil coolers inside a reservoir tank. These valves are simple in design and are usually submerged – therefore they are not subject to the effects of corrosive conditions. Maintenance is limited to periodically oiling the hammer blow handwheel at the oil hole and replacing washers and seals. The only other moving part is the plug which is lubricated by the flowing media.

When ordering refurbishment services be sure to give all the data on the valve reference plate, the number of the sectional illustration, and piece list forming part of this bulletin. Also, the name and number of the parts required as numbered and described.
